Audio Magazines Now Available at LAMP. These Include Favorites Like Guideposts!

LAMP offers over 75 audio magazines, including 20 new ones! These new magazines are available on BARD as well as magazines on cartridge (MOCs).
One of the new magazines most requested by our Patrons in the past is Guideposts. Since 1945, this nonsectarian inspirational magazine has offered heartwarming true stories of hope, daily devotionals, unforgettable family moments and quotes from today’s positive thinkers. Guideposts is a bimonthly magazine.
Baseball season is here, and along with it we are now offering Baseball Digest. Baseball Digest will keep you up to date with recent baseball action and also includes articles on the rich history of the sport.
Consumer Reports: On Health is new, too. Its expert reviews and ratings for health, fitness and food products are invaluable. It also has articles on the latest information available about drugs, hospital safety and more. (LAMP already offers Consumer Reports with its tried-and-true reviews and ratings for a wide variety of consumer products.) Another health-related offering is Prevention Magazine, described by its publisher as “the ultimate live-better handbook.” This healthy-lifestyle magazine features articles about health conditions, wellness, food and nutrition, weight loss, fitness and beauty.
For the many dog-loving readers out there we now have Dogster magazine. This bimonthly publication will assist you in better understanding, caring for and enjoying your dog. It’s packed with canine healthcare information, training techniques, grooming tips and breed profiles.
If you are looking for book ideas, consider Bookmarks magazine, which summarizes hundreds of opinions from every major newspaper and magazine for a comprehensive look at 50 new fiction, nonfiction and children’s books. Bookmarks also profiles both new and classic authors.
There are so many other new offerings, such as Jet, Fiyah Literary Magazine, Scientific American, Yoga Journal, Cooking Light, and for Spanish-speakers Vanidades and Selecciones del Reader’s Digest.
